Héctor Dorantes (Guanajuato, Mexico, 1997) is a transdisciplinary artist based in Mexico City whose work is rooted in radical exploration. With a background in International Business from the Monterrey Institute of Technology (ITESM), he abandoned that path to delve into the limits of chaos as a field of aesthetic creation. His work emerges from the concept of existential maximalism, emphasizing immersive environments and abstract superstructures as sites of intensified experience. Influenced by punk, post-irony, metamodernism, and expressionist drones, his practice fosters alternative dialogues that challenge conventional modes of perception and meaning.
