Héctor Dorantes (Guanajuato, Mexico, 1997) is a transdisciplinary artist based in Mexico City. Studied in the International Business School at Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM). His works synthesize various phenomena such as existential maximalism, chaos, liminality, postmodernism and market anarchism. In his focus, he proposes the intersection between art and philosophy across different mediums: photography, painting, music and poetry while utilizing recurring motifs around abjection, punk, dark irony, immaterial hedonism and caffeine.
